Generally, the baby has hated the water at the beach. But the tidepools were a bit warmer and he didn't object for a good long while.

This was one of my favorite photos of the big boy.
Yesterday I took this one and it reminds me so much of that photo, for the same reason. It's that smile, that "there you are momma!" smile.
This is pretty typical of our Moon doggie. Purple to let you know she's a girl, filthy because that's who she is. We'll miss you Moonie.
We planned to go out to the Isles of Shoals for lunch but it was a full boat. So we went for dinner instead. We would have been in the sun on the trip but it was cloudy on our journey, and a sunset back. It is a magical place. I'd highly recommend it.
Much bed lounging this morning. One of these boys is actually asleep.
I'm not sure about sharing yesterday's photo. It is an adorable picture that includes adorable nude bottoms. I wish I didn't even have to think about creepers out there on the internet.
Well, today we went to this old 1830s village, where a farmer was walking these baby cows and training them at a yoke. So he asked the boy if he was 7, because 7 year olds are ox drivers, and it turned into the boy wearing the hat and holding the oxen (when they're babies, they're probably not oxen but I don't really know).
This is our equivalent of the flag on the moon. Staking our turf. We now have a presence in the neighborhood.
Baby on my lap - his head in the foreground. It was a hot, tiring day with me and all 3 kids, so when daddy was on his way home, I was outside with a beer. G wanted me to take a photo of the crazy sky and moon.
Yes, he sleeps on my bed. On puffy comforter. With NO RAILS. He's amazing though isn't he?
The last day of magical princess dance camp. Running beneath the fairy catcher.
I left the sheet at right on the line later, because it was shading the boy. He had been sitting up but he's decided to give me a heart attack and be all mobile like.
Once I saw this painting, where the middle was all white and windy, but on each side was different - it was like on one side was a snowstorm and one was a sandstorm. So these Mongols were meeting up with some Arabians and were confused by it. The ocean horizon today was reminding me of it - the fog completely blurred the transition.
There's an old bridge here that they've converted to a walking/bike trail bit. It's a much bigger hill than we thought, but the boy did 3 journeys up it on his two wheeler.
I've been telling the husband about this stone veneer at chimney for a while, and we keep forgetting to look at it during the day, together, so I did this out the window. Yes, while driving.
We had quite the color variety in the sink today. Fruit and veggies are always kept in a strainer in the sink, for public consumption. It gets refilled a.lot.
