The front of my house! It's nearly done as far as what can be done at the factory. And it's all sealed up so there's not much else that *can* be done.
Haircut day. Why the children had to give the mugshot look when I took their photo, I do not know.
The interaction here is remarkable. "Hiii dooooog! Dog! Dog!! Hi dog!!"
The neighbor told me that my boy was in with the girls. Preparing for the halloween parade, I saw this was true.
The look on her face! Crack me up!! It was peek week at dance this week. She takes it *so* seriously.
First thing in the morning, shallots cooked in butter still smell good. We're working on having lots of soup lately and finishing out the csa veggies.
The gloves made his hands orange. It doesn't photograph quite as extremely as it looks.
I was pretty excited to see this at the farm we go to for eggs. I think a lot of soft cheeses are made from raw milk, so I'm not worried. Besides, I'll probably cook it anyway. I also liked the reflection of the pumping equipment here.
I have a picture of the big boy in this hat, that this reminds me of. Both looking oh so serious. I have to check in on that older one, to see if G's eyes were this blue, because they are green now.
We were going for a walk, and the boy kept doing this with his hands. I have no idea what it was but it was a riot. He was putting a spell on the road before us.
She wanted to see what our eyes looked like. It's kind of a spooky shot.
I found a great walking (and soon to be running hopefully) loop at the new place. And this swamp is so cool and terrifying, for me as a mom.
I was 12 ears of corn behind on my corn prep. Now I'm all set for the winter!
I took a few photos and apparently was holding it differently than usual, as I was teetering on the edge of some dirt piles, and every photo has the flesh toned blur. Oops!
My girl called my attention to this leaf. We were somewhere distinctly not-beautiful like the grocery store.
As part of our farm share this week, we were offered a variety of squash. The kids were insistent that tiny pumpkins were those. So, not exactly edible, more on the adorable side.
This boy no longer likes going to sleep. He rather prefers doing things like standing up and crawling over me.
These two aren't the most likely pair - they're the further away in age, different genders, but I spend most of my mornings hanging around with these guys in pajamas. And for his birthday, I got him these pajamas, and then we inherited almost identical ones from the cousin. So of course they have to wear them together.
Four weeks ago this was a contractor's garage. It just feels so good as a Montessori school.
Behind me was the ocean, so this isn't the most picturesque view, but it is a cute one.
Visiting the farm with the cousin. She'll be taking riding lessons here.
Went to ikea today with the sister. I really liked this mirror so I took a photo to remind myself. But bonus me picture!
Our road turns into a dirt road about 100 yards from our house, in one direction, as it goes through a wildlife management area. We avoid it mostly, because it's pretty rough riding, but if I want a baby to sleep we'll take it.
The husband went away for a few days so we did lots of things like streaming netflix movie pizza nights. Mmm.
M loves these flowers at school that look like tiny peppers. I told her we'd take a photo and figure out what it is.
Apparently it only takes about 20 minutes to make a pink mermaid costume. Now we're all set for halloween, if it lasts. I have since hid it.
Five days before this opens as a preschool. We shall see if the team pulls it off.
