The kids school has this event (annual? perhaps twice a year) where they have stories in jammies, eat popcorn, it's lovely. And it always reassures me that my kids aren't the worst behaved ones out there.
By six months, all of my kids have loved the bath. This one is no exception. I had to take him out when it was getting cold - but he wasn't complaining.
The kids played outside almost all day and were at my sister in law's snacking and so at 8 pm, we had scrambled eggs. They had tons of fruits and starches so it shouldn't surprise me that all they wanted was protein.
Two weeks from today we have to be out of this place. This is the pile of stuff I semi sorted through today, all of my archi-materials.
Anyone want a t-square? Or three?
Today we finally got out and went to the park. The kids had a "tennis lesson". The quotes are because, well, they're kids.
I'm not feeling great, daddy's working late, and we're cleaning out the freezer. Tater tots and veggie burgers it is!
Cereal for momma, as there were only two servings left.
The final project at this house, hopefully. We have to install a radon mitigation system, which involves crawling around in dust and drilling a hole through brick, creating that red dust all over the husband. The kids crawled into the crawlspace and the big boy even accidentally touched a mummified mouse. I'm glad they have such a rich childhood.
We gave him a little bit of pears tonight. The kids have been dying to try him on real people food and at 5+ months I was okay with this. He was not impressed.
I've started using my phone to take pictures of things I like when I see them, to remind myself. I have several recipes on there right now, and it helped me make a mean fish chowder last week. I saw this one in the local paper. I think we'll go sample some natural sweets.
House hunting again. This house isn't really an option but what a beautiful spot. It was also featured in the new Mel Gibson movie.
Taking a break from house related things for a shot of my baby boy. His hair is filling in and it's fairer than I expected. He's going to be his own little man I guess.
Did some house hunting today and found this one house that had an adorable workshop out in the acreage. No water to it but it's really sweet. It wasn't until I looked at the image that I realized it also looked horror movie-ish.
I just thought the lemons and the apples looked so pretty there. We are going to have fish so I got lemons, but then the husband had a dinner hour meeting so tomorrow it is.
