Field trip with the big boy. Blurry shot of him holding a horseshoe crab.
Spent the evening in New Jersey so we wandered out to Liberty State Park. Very cool spot.
Went to Mount Vernon, so of course the boy made a lego Geoge Wonsingtin, Mount Vernon Verginya.
Late lunch in Georgetown after a day of touristing. Dinner will be fruit in the hotel followed by cinnamon buns and cabinet perusal at Ikea.
Stopped by an excellent little Frank Lloyd Wright house today to do some traffic avoidance. Very fun when we're designing our own at the moment.
Yup, pretty sure we're buying some land and building fresh. Woot!
This morning we drove to Wells Maine to a homemade doughnut place. It was so mobbed though that we got our dozen to go and planned a picnic at the lighthouse. Needless to say, we were stuffed to the gills by that point with sugar and fat so this was just the fresh air break.
I like that he's old enough to sit with us at the dinner table now. Even if he's only having rice rusk and water. He was loving the sippy cup.
The kids got these tiny little seed kits in their easter baskets. We set them up one week ago today and look! Tomatoes!
Went for a little walk at this great new to us and only about 2 miles away park. Forts, playground, beach, bathrooms, and excellent science center (which we didn't fully check out but will during vacation week maybe on a rainy day - it was way too nice to be inside!).
The boy set up his homework desk at the rental today. Right next to Daddy's desk, which is a big hit for all involved.
It hit 85 here today. What a day to be across the street from a dog-friendly beach. She was a nut in the surf.
The house was officially sold today. Celebratory dinner at Petey's seafood. Onion rings!!!
I went and got some rice rusks today. I don't really do rice cereal but these are fun. They were a hit.
This afternoon I had some chocolate dairy queen and that was a *huge* hit. He was lunging for the cone. It was not neat.
The bubble wands are the big hit of the easter baskets. The baby *loved* watching his brother and sister play with them.
I'm finally back with a real non-phone internet connection, so I will be posting the pictures from the last week soon. I took them, just haven't uploaded and blogged them.
