We went to this fabulous public pool (this is the width of it, it's the length of a football field!) and the blue angels were practicing for this weekend's airshow above (look center above the trees).
So much for putting the baby on the blanket, and the sand staying on the beach.
Another example of forgetting to take a photo before the end of the day.
I don't know who these people are, but we went to this summer-only church this morning. It was a really lovely spot. We're living in this beach community, where there's lots of old money, so this old Episcopal church was full of madras and white linen. In a fun way.
The porch is something similar to what we'd planned at our new house, so I took the shot.
Today we realized we have a peach tree at our new house. With peaches on it!
Visiting the model home at a factory. It's kind of fun traipsing around houses that are on trucks.
When I went out to the deck there was a great blue heron in the marsh. Made me feel a little funny about the chicken breast I was cooking up.
When I said "go get ready for bed and climb in", I didn't exactly envision the pink feather headdress.
Now we have two walls of a foundation. Isn't the rebar sticking out scary?
I will probably forget the way we use this rental house. We just tape stuff to the walls. We had this silver origami paper and the girly painted on it. They're really cool as a set of four, and the husband's desk lap shines on them each night.
Discovering that the seven letters of her name fit perfectly into the dry-erase calendar.
These sweatshirts (dinosaur or shark, depending on which kid you ask), are full of adorable.
This is what $12,000 of rebar looks like, sitting in a foundation hole.
