The wind was having its way with the curtain.

We have this tradition of stopping at this cute lakeside restaurant for lunch on our way home from Maine. It's usually a later, leisurely lunch, because it's an hour from our land, and it's rare that we're leaving much before noon. This was the first time baby boy has gone, and he was sitting on the table, providing much laughter.

Closed on the land! And big boy's half birthday, so we celebrated in high style - bbq. We went to the closest non-pizza restaurant to the land, which is about 2 towns away. It's pretty remote where we are.

The girl was concentrating on opening shelled peanuts. Very proud of herself.

We got a new truck. So of course we all loaded up and went to get ice cream. Funny enough, we got there and realized we only had $4.83 to our names. We split two kiddie sizes (and got two cones and recreated eensy weensy tiny cones for the kids) but it all worked out. Maybe we're just teaching portion control. ;o)

A new view of "our" marsh. I found this great walking loop. You can't see in this photo, but they've added those big black greenhead boxes. Good that they're being proactive, but scary that they needed to. I'm glad we get a nice breeze.
