I don't know that I've ever felt a little misty when I've voted before. A few years ago, I voted for myself for a local office, and I can safely say I was more careful today when filling in that little bubble. I feel this amazing empowerment, and (hokey, yes) but hope about this election. I'm a gen-Xer, we don't feel this way. The first president I remember was Reagan. Enough said.

What a rush. I want to do it again. Maybe I'll pretend to be my Florida-wintering neighbor.
